Accessibility Statement

Lumenalis Consulting Ltd. is committed to making lumenalis.com usable by the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technology. The site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11).

Measures in place

  • Text and background colour combinations are chosen for contrast. The primary text colour, Charcoal (#3D3D3D), on a white field returns a contrast ratio of approximately 8:1, exceeding the WCAG AA threshold of 4.5:1.
  • Pages are built from standard semantic blocks — ordered headings, lists, and links — so assistive technology can parse structure and navigate by landmark.
  • Text resizes with the browser’s zoom controls without loss of content.
  • Images that convey meaning carry descriptive alternative text.

Known limitations

  • The site is hosted on a third-party platform (WordPress.com). Some platform-injected elements, such as subscription or login bars, are outside the firm’s direct control and may not fully conform.
  • The downloadable PDF catalogues are not yet fully tagged for screen-reader navigation. A text alternative can be provided on request.
